I created a YouTube channel when we first adopted our youngest cat, Penny. I thought sharing her progress after having her leg amputated, would be a good idea. But that didn't last long. She's doing fine by the way! You would never know that she only has 3 legs. It's pretty amazing actually.
But now for the point of this blog. A running blog. A running diary? I've been running for a couple years now. Not as long as some but I do consider myself a tad experienced when it comes to running. At least a little bit anyway. I have a 5k race and 3 half-marathons under my belt. But I'm itching for more and for longer. But if you run, I'm sure you are well aware that if you stop even for a week, it screws up all of your training. At least for me it does. So if you're reading this, my first tip, is to remain consistent.
I just turned 38 and I have a running goal by the time I turn 40. I want to run a full marathon. That's 26 miles or so or 42 kilometers. Maybe? Something like that. Either way, it's a crap ton of running.
But first, I have another little challenge that I just started today on September 21st, 2021. Run a mile a day and see what happens. Not sure how long I'll do this streak for. It might not even be for me. But I'm sure going to try.
If you're reading this and want to follow my running journey, please feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel. I post random videos over there cause like most things, I really have no idea what I'm doing but am having fun anyway!
